Bishopswood Schools Federation took over the provision of the before and after school wrap-around care for children at both the infant and junior schools in April 2021 and have called ourselves ‘The Orchard’. We are pleased that the staff who run the Orchard are all staff of the school so your children will have seen us all around the school.  

Our Breakfast facility runs from 7.30am to 8.45am. There are a range of activities available to the children which include reading, games, drawing, puzzles and other exciting pursuits. We offer a nutritious breakfast in the mornings, including cereal, toast, muffins and fruit. 

Our After School facility is available from 3.30pm to 6.00pm. Children will have an opportunity to do homework and various activities such as crafts, ICT, board games and outside play. In the evening, we offer snacks on a rolling 4-week menu, please see below for more information. Fruit and water will be available at all times.

Fees

The fees for The Orchard are as follows :-

• Breakfast - £7 per session
• After School - £11 per session

Payment for The Orchard is made through an online payment scheme called Tucasi/Scopay.  If your child attends the junior school then parents will already have been set up on this system and The Orchard will just need to be added to your account.  If your child attends the infant school, then you will receive a registration letter once we have received your initial registration documents.
